Jen Naye Herrmann

I’m a ‘40 under 40’ corporate brand marketer turned entrepreneur. I opted to launch my solo business journey with motherhood 4 years ago, which might’ve been my craziest idea.

Four years later, I now have two kids and two businesses. While it was messy, it’s helped me to best understand how women (and specifically moms) can build successful businesses with kids (quite literally) hanging off of them. I’m known as the numbers gal in our crew because I love a good ‘ol excel equation to organize a project. When I’m not working, you can often find me walking near the beach in the North Shore because I like to claim I’ve moved to a beach town and not the ‘burbs.

I’m immensely passionate about building more women in the workplace from the comfort of their home. I’m a big believer that if your work life jives with your home life, you’ll be more successful and happier.  You can have it all - it just depends on what you want, how focused you can be, what day of the week it is, and how much coffee you can consume.

Jessie Bernhardt

I am a mom of 2 boys and the co-founder of The Marketing Greenhouse, a multi-6-figure marketing agency that I started in March 2020 (lol) with Jen Naye.

I also work as a content creator, and previously built a successful ecommerce based swimwear company from the ground up. When I started as an entrepreneur, access to the resources I needed was expensive and felt scattered, so I didn’t know where to start. As we’ve grown our agency over the past few years, we have been grounded in a passion to help other entrepreneurs “skip” the years of struggle and not make the same mistakes we did.

TMG collective is a community that adds immense value while purposefully accessible to entrepreneurs just starting out. We had the idea that if we can all contribute together, we can add four times the value and keep the price fair and attainable.

Jessie, where’s your hometown?

Washington, DC… though I claim New York more often than not.

 

Jen, what’s your go-to drink?

Lavender Latte. I’ve become more of a coffee lover than cocktail lover since my son Archie arrived. 

 

Jessie, what’s your morning routine?

Getting woken up abruptly at 6:45 am by my 3 year old as soon as his okay-to-wake clock turns green.

 

Jen, what’s your evening routine?

We love to take a family walk after work and head to the park. Then it’s home, dinner, bath and bed. It’s a toss up who stays up later… Emmie or me!

 

Jessie, what’s the best advice you’ve ever Received?

Jen, what’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Managing work is like juggling. Some balls are glass and some bounce. Don’t let the glass balls hit the ground. It taught me how to prioritize.
